As a "Concierge Travel Planner", she provides consultation, evaluates and recommends options best suited for the client’s needs and interests, identifies peak and off season for a destination, manages the entire booking process, confirms all travel elements from hotels to transportation to activities, organizes all logistics, and creates seamless itineraries. Niki's mission to help clients enjoy stress-free trips is aided by exploring destinations and resorts first-hand to stay updated on changes and new features. She also gathers new information about destinations from weekly webinars, trade shows, and trade travel news.

Her own personal and business travels have taken her to 24 countries, and she lists Thailand, Turkey, and Tahiti as her favorite international destinations. She’s highly experienced with cruises, too, thanks to family vacations, and recommends them for other families wanting a memorable and carefree option with something for everyone. Closer to home, she’s experienced 28 U.S. states and especially cherishes the time spent in Hawaii and Alaska.

Before launching Via Travel Service, Niki worked with two of the largest travel agencies in the U.S. Her experience there included handling travel for RJ Reynolds Tobacco and major furniture industries in North Carolina, as well as the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, located in Chicago. 

Niki is a member of the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA), the world's largest association of travel professionals, where she completed their Verified Travel Advisor program. She has also earned her CTA, a prestigious designation from The Travel Institute, after completing a rigorous certification program, demonstrating essential industry knowledge and experience and exemplifying the highest standards of professionalism. Niki is associated with Travel Experts, Inc, a member of Virtuoso.
